Professional mental health support can be incredibly beneficial for dancers’ physical and mental health. There are many different types of support. Below are some tools to help you find the right type of support for you.
Please remember that finding the right mental health support can sometimes feel like dating. If you don’t feel like the person gets you, provides a safe and supportive space, or you aren’t noticing any changes to your symptoms in 4-6 weeks, it’s okay to find someone new. It’ll be worth the effort it takes to find the right fit.
